Do you offer boudoir sessions?

This is one of our most frequently asked questions, and as much as I'd love to say, "YES," the real answer is, "We'd like to!" Joyful Portraits does not currently have a studio, so we have to generate enough paying interest to host a boudoir marathon in order to offer sessions of this type. Boudoir marathon sessions are done at separate times on the same date in the same location.

How will I receive my images?

  1. After our session, I will send you an email with a link to your proofing album.
  2. You'll favorite the images you'd like to purchase by clicking the heart button.
  3. I will send you an invoice for the selected images.
  4. Once payment has been received, your images will be put into my post-processing queue.
  5. Once I have post-processed your images, you'll receive an email with a link to your final online gallery.
  6. From there, you'll want to download your images and keep them in a safe place as my storage of your images will expire.

How fast will I get my images back?

First, this depends on how quickly you choose your images and pay your invoice. Once payment has been received, your images are put on my post-processing queue. Sometimes there are other sessions to be completed before I am able to get to yours. It can be as little as a few days or up to 6 weeks, but mostly 1-2 weeks from payment receipt.

How much do images cost?

We have created an Investment Guide so you can see all your options in one place. We are proud to offer you the option to pay for what you love! Our packages have no minimum or maximum. On a budget? We got you! Can't bare to part with anything we captured? We got you!

Can I get all the images from our session on a USB?

Images included on the USB purchase option only include the images you've purchased to be post-processed.

Why no families, babies, weddings or events?

We want to focus our attention on what we do best, individuals and couples! Although you may feel confident in our abilities to capture your family or special occasion, we hope you'll find another photographer who is better able to meet your needs. If you'd like a referral to another photographer we've personally worked with and would recommend, contact us.
