These cleared out woods are perfect! A beautiful path with dappled lighting.

Wooden structures, winding road, and forest. This is one of the better locations for the baren winter months.

The car wash can be a lot of fun for new couples, old couples, sweet 16, new car and more! We can play in the soap and water, or we can just wash the car.

Country Cottagecore

Rustic and farm-like. This location has riverside access, a winding gravel road, and so many wildflowers during the warmer months! Great option throughout the year.

Private Property

Private property is always an option! Let me know where you want your session, with permission of property owners, and we'll do your session there! Joyful Portraits area coverage is within 30 driving miles of our home office located in Beaver, WV. After that, there will be a $1 travel fee per mile, one-way. (Move to bottom of page. Lake Overview

Beautiful mountainous horizon above a glistening lake. Nearby, you'll see a driveway, cleared woods, and a beautiful wide-open field. This location is especially beautiful in the summer and fall.

rhododendron Lot

This parking lot features luscious rhododendrons year-round.

• This location is great for those who may have limited mobility.

Frolic in the yard

A nice open yard with surrounding trees and greenery. Conveniently located near I-64. Flowers may or may not be present in the grass depending on the season.

Sidewalks and beautiful landscaping surrounded by tall "downtown" buildings. This is a great mid-day option when sunrise or sunset are difficult to schedule for. Best during grass-growing season.

Urban Grunge

Grungy urban vibes. This location is covered in (inappropriate) graffiti as well as some meant-to-be-there art murals. There is an asphalt path nearby with beautiful speckled sunset light peaking through the trees as well. This is a great option for those wanting a basic, plain background, or who want a more urban feel to their session. This is also a great option during the winter months!

Winter Field

A nice open yard with surrounding trees and greenery. This nice open field provides us with the opportunity to get nice bokeh backgrounds. Great option for the winter, or any time of the year! This image was taken in January.

Easy to find

A small grassy hillside surrounded by trees and greenery. If you get anxiety about travelling, this is a great easy-to-find option! This photo was taken in February.

Nintendo Castle

Is it Luigi's yard at the haunted mansion or is it Peach's yard? Great fall, winter, and early spring location. There's usually not many people here during those seasons. Visually appealing leading lines, a giant grassy hillside, grassy yard, streets, trees, and rock wall. This (unprocessed) photo was taken in March.

Ultra Urban

Conveniently located, this place has urban vibes written all over it! Surround yourself with concrete and graffiti at this cool place! This location must be done during sunset, almost blue-hour. This one may or may not be busy with other people.

Tiny Adventure

- Location 22

This one is for the adventurers! We can take a short walk, or we can go the long way and hit another location spot on the way here. This location is especially beautiful in October and should be done during EARLY sunset.

I need to replace this image with one that shows off this location a bit better. It's got a barn-like structure, dirt "floor," grassy hillside, and gravel pathway. Great mid-day option for when sunset and sunrise are hard to schedule for.
